Quality Guidelines

Excellence is our baseline. Follow these guidelines to ensure your assets meet the elite standards of the UnityGameSeller marketplace.

Our Core Standards

Every asset on UnityGameSeller undergoes a rigorous manual review process. We focus on three foundational pillars: Execution, Scalability, and Reliability.

1. Source Code & Architecture

  • Modular Design: Code must be organized using clean, object-oriented principles. Avoid long classes and messy inheritance.
  • Commenting: All public methods and complex logic must be documented with clear, concise C# comments.
  • Performance: Assets must be optimized for production. This includes efficient memory management and avoiding heavy operations in the Update loop.
  • No Dependencies: Unless strictly necessary, assets should not depend on 3rd party plugins that aren't included in the package.

2. Documentation Requirements

A high-quality asset is useless without great documentation. Every submission must include a PDF or Markdown file containing:

  • Instalation and setup guide.
  • Explanation of key classes and components.
  • Usage examples and "Getting Started" tutorials.
  • Contact information for support.

3. Visuals & Presentation

First impressions matter. Your cover art and screenshots must be professional and high-resolution.

  • Cover Art: Must be 1920x1080px and professionally designed.
  • Screenshots: Provide at least 5 clear screenshots showing the editor view and the game in action.
  • Video Previews: A YouTube link demonstrating the core features is highly recommended for faster approval.

Elite Certified Status

Assets that exceed these guidelines in every category may be awarded the "Elite Certified" badge, which increases visibility and buyer confidence.
