Refund Policy

At UnityGameSeller, we prioritize trust and quality. Learn how our transaction security and refund protections work for digital assets.

The Core Protocol

Unlike physical goods, digital assets (Unity Source Code, Templates, Plugins) are non-returnable once the download is initiated. However, we enforce a strict Quality Guarantee to protect our buyers.

1. Eligibility for Refund

A refund may be initiated within 7 days of purchase under the following circumstances:

  • Asset Inoperability: The asset does not function as described in the documentation and the seller is unable to provide a fix within 48 hours.
  • Material Misrepresentation: The asset is significantly different from what was shown in the preview or description.
  • Critical Technical Faults: The project files are corrupted or missing core components mentioned in the listing.

2. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will not be granted for instances including, but not limited to:

  • User changed their mind after downloading the project files.
  • User does not have the required software version (e.g., trying to open a URP project in Built-in RP without checking).
  • The user lacks the technical skill to implement the asset (e.g., basic C# knowledge required for templates).
  • Attempting to claim a refund after a significant period (over 7 days).

3. Review Process

When a refund request is filed, our Mediation Team will audit the claim. We may request:

  1. Screenshots or recordings of the technical error.
  2. Unity Editor logs showing the console errors.
  3. Proof that the user attempted to contact the seller first.

4. Security Normalized Payouts

To maintain marketplace integrity, funds are held in escrow for a verification period. If a refund is approved, the funds are reversed to the original payment method minus any decentralized network fees.
